TATTACWEB

 

Welcome to TATTACWEB!  The purpose of these instructions is to prepare you for successful participation in our web based delivery program.   Whether it is a meeting, training or quick together TATTACWEB provides you the opportunity to gain information and collaborate.  This is done through a variety of options, voice/video and web based documents.

 

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

PC  users:

  • Internet Explorer® 5.0 or newer, Netscape® 6.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 1.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
  • Windows® 2000, XP, 2003 Server or Vista
  • Stable 56k, cable modem, ISDN, DSL, or better Internet connection
  • Minimum of Pentium® 400 MHz with 256 MB of RAM (recommended)
  • Built in microphone or headset with a microphone (when using SKYPE)
  • Speaker phone or phone with headset (when using telephone)
  • Web cam-optional

MAC users:

System requirements:

  • Safari™ 1.3 or newer, Firefox® 1.5 or newer on PowerPC G3/G4/G5, Firefox 1.5.0.2 or newer on Intel® (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
  • Mac OS® X 10.3.9 (Panther) or newer
  • PowerPC G3/G4/G5 or Intel processor (G4 450 MHz with 256 MB of RAM or better recommended)
  • Stable 56k, cable modem, ISDN, DSL, or better Internet connection
  • Built in microphone or headset with a microphone (when using SKYPE)
  • Speaker phone or phone with headset (when using telephone)
  • Web cam-optional

SOFTWARE

There are two options for accessing the voice portion of  TATTACWEB.   We communicate in advance with you and/or the group representative as to the option that best meets your needs.  These options are;

1.  SKYPE is a free program that you download to your computer.   You are then able through a built in microphone or headset with a microphone make free voice calls worldwide.   A web cam can be integrated with SKYPE  as well.

Current users of  SKYPE should make sure that they have the latest version by going to “HELP” on the menu bar,  then click on “CHECK FOR UPDATES”

If you and/or your organization are using other software we will review it to insure its meets our hardware and presentation requirements. 

All participants must be using the same software. 

2.  The use of a telephone conference call either with individual(s) or a group is available.  The cost of the call is the responsibility of the participant.

3.  We use GoToMeeting for delivering presentations, demonstrations, collaborating on documents and securely sharing confidential information online

from anywhere at any time. Our meetings can be one-to-one or meeting with multiple people at once.  We can do;

  • Presentations: Give a slideshow to your online audience and reduce travel costs.
  • Demonstrations: Share our services through conferences in real time, regardless of your location.
  • Collaborations: Meet with others online to share, discuss and edit any document. Transfer presentation controls to other attendees.

Your GoToMeeting session is completely private and secure. GoToMeeting uses built-in, always-on security measures to protect user privacy and access to data and computers. It is the only online meeting solution that uses end-to-end 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption for all meeting data, which includes screen images, files, keyboard and mouse input and chat text.

 

You do not need an account with GoToMeeting to use the software.  Additional information on GoToMeeting

 

 

MEETING NOTIFICATION

 

You will receive via email information as to the time/date of your meeting.  Meeting times will be stated in the time zone(s) of the participants.  There will be a session id number and web link that enables you join the meeting.  If confidential information is being shared then a password will be included as well.   The voice option, SKYPE or telephone conference call will also be included.

 

 

TATTACWEB opens up sessions five minutes in advance of the start time.  If you are having technical problems contact Mac at mbw@laguna.com.mx. 

 

We record all sessions so if you miss something you can access beyond the session.
